Hi! thanks for upload the new baseband! :)

I've obtained the baseband from another site, but i can't obtain the new RIL.

Can you upload BB and RIL to a new server?

Thanks a lot!

battery life

Hi!

I have an optimus 2x with the 725 baseband.

From what i've seen through this thread, and the two best basebands are 1120 and 313.

If i understood correctly Baseband 1120 has the advantage of increasing the sound quality, and 313 has the advantage of correcting many bugs.

However i read all the posts through the thread, and one point is inconclusive. Which one of them offers the best battery life (in general)? Does it worth to upgrade from baseband 725, or will i lose in battery life?

Basically the usage i give to the handset is that i have 3g connected practically all day and sometimes wifi at home (at night).

Best battery comes from 1120 BB usage, for me... But 313 is not so worst
while there're many gains in GPS, WIFI and other... Try both if u want and
choose the best 4 u

I've got it !!!! :p:p:p:p Wonderful... Testing and this afternoon posting it :D

EDIT : no more test now, it's time to post it :

    BASEBAND 1120 ( SU660 @ P990 Porting )

    RIL 1120 ( SU660 @ P990 Porting ) - SO File - Manual Installation

    RIL 1120 ( SU660 @ P990 Porting ) - ZIP File - CWM Flashable

NB RIL 1120 ZIP Flashable may tell u "824 RIL updated succesfully"... Don't panic, it's 1120 RIL but I compiled with my old 824 ZIP archive... :p

RIL by Ryaneu ( thx man )

    For me, everything works fine:

    * GPS => great time fix gain and good signal strenght
    * 2G / 3G => good signal strenght almost everywhere and very good quality
    * WIFI=> works fine but no noticeable improvement from 824, anyway good as all the rest

    MD5SUM : 67b69daf79d95e26f81f9e9d4a3cdbb5
    (Thanks to Temasek )

Please test it and report all bug, ok ?

    Enjoy all !!!

EDIT 1 : JUST ARRIVED RIL 1120... Testing it on course... It's not verified
up to now so don't complain in case of problems ok ?!:eek::eek:

EDIT 2 : 1120 RIL appears to be the same old 824... Bahhhh it's just working, it's not needed, not necessary but if u want flash it ;)

RIL IS NOT NECESSARY WITH ICS ROMS, WITH OR WITHOUT IT, IT'S THE SAME FOR ME SO FIRST TRY AVOIDING RIL AND BOOT ONLY AFTER HAVING FLASHED BB... DEPENDING ON YOUR MOBILE OPERATOR, FLASHING RIL MAY CAUSE NETWORK LOSS OR SIGNAL PROBLEMS, SO I REPEAT... FIRST INSTALL THE BB AND NOT THE RIL FOR THE FIRST BOOT ! IF EVERYTHING WORKS, IT'S BETTER TO AVOID THE RIL... RIL 1120 OR RIL 824 ARE ONLY FOR CM7 & CM9... DON'T FLASH THEM ON STOCK / MCR ROMS !!!!

    EDIT 26/03/2012

This is the new BASABAND 313 ( 13.03.2012 ) taken from russian legends...
This is not a porting from LG SU660, it's made in P990 and works very well
with ALL MOBILE OPERATORS. Special numbers bug related to BB 1120 are
solved, no bugs ! Same performance of BB 1120 except of WIFI ( little gain
in quality signal and speed ) and BT ( good gain for BT devices beyond 4 or
5 meters, no "crack sounds" until 12 meters ). Great 2G / 3G signal in all the
conditions, stable and good voice quality for our tests... Take it a look !

    BASEBAND 313 ( Born for P990 )

    BASEBAND 313 (MIRROR) ( Born for P990 )

    RIL 313 ( Born for P990 ) - ZIP File - CWM Flashable

NB RIL 313 after flashing, says "RIL 824 succesfully flashed". Don't worry, 'cause I've compiled
    from 824 zip... No panic, it's 313 RIL... :p

DEPENDING ON YOUR MOBILE OPERATOR, TYPE OF ROM, TYPE OF KERNEL, FLASHING RIL 313 MAY CAUSE NETWORK LOSS OR SIGNAL PROBLEMS, SO I REPEAT... FIRST INSTALL THE BB AND NOT THE RIL FOR THE FIRST BOOT ! IF EVERYTHING WORKS, MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP OF ALL THE WORKING SYSTEM BEFORE FLASHING THE RIL 313... RIL 824 / 1120 / 313 ARE ONLY FOR CM7 & CM9... DON'T FLASH THEM ON STOCK / MCR ROMS !!!!

Due to several requests, I put latest BB on mediafire :) It's not new, it's the latest... BB 1218 aka 30B, released

Let's clear up this RIL-business once and for all.

Stock Gingerbread ROMs must use a RIL designed for P990 GB. That is any version labeled 20a to 20q (NOT 21x which is Canadian Froyo) except 20f-20j for the SU660.

Stock Froyo and CM7 is exactly the opposite. They cannot use the Gingerbread RILs, but they CAN use the SU660 RILs.

    New SU660 V20m 0420 baseband

Does anyone had try this new baseband 0420 form su660 :D

The baseband come from here http://bbs.gfan.com/android-4157148-1-1.html

Edit: I had check the ril and it's the same with 1120.;)

LG RIL version does a fine job of finding the downloaded RIL and installing it. I made a mistake earlier saying it was another program, soz.
A couple of days ago I added this RIL to GetRIL (and its' Premium version ofc). Just make sure to hit the menu button -> Update database within GetRIL.
