The cpu of this device is supposed to be 1ghz dual core however, Samsung has underclock it to 0.8 mhz for some reason. My question is has any body tried overclocking the cpu to 1ghz ?

firstly it's 0.8 Ghz and second, nope nobody tried because it's too risky. From what I have understood we miss some voltage/other information about the cpu usage of ace 2 so by trying to overclock in blind there is a high possibility for frying the phone into a melted ice cream sandwich

Firstly it's 0,8GHz or 800MHz (not Mhz). On "Antutu Benchmark" rankings you can see ACE 2 with 1200MHz so...

Download the rom and open the zip, navigate to system and open build.prop

There are a lot of programs in the play store such as set cpu, haven't anybody tried one ?
Also, a lot of phones with the same processor are clocked to 1GHz by default so there must be a safe way to do it.
