It's a great Rom, only tw Rom I've ever loved. And so far greatly taken care of as far as fixes and requests.

Default Re: Trexcell Samsung Epic 4G Touch 3800mAh Extended Battery

I bought this battery. Trexcell $16.99 off amazon. Its freaking amazing!! Im running stock rooted ga10 jelly bean. This runs circles around stock battery. It last all day and more. Its big but makes phone easier to hold.

You don't need to get another charger your original should work fine but bigger capacity=slightly longer charge times, I've got two of these batteries so I bought a battery charger that I leave one battery in and just switch them out whenever needed that way my phone is never plugged up. As for conditioning I'm not sure, it comes with instructions on how and what to do but mine were "slightly used" since I purchased from a fellow XDA member

Here is what I did to condition the battery. I charged the extended battery to 100% and used a battery calibration app to tell the phone that my charge is 100%. I then let the phone discharge completely until the phone shut itself down then recharged back to 100%. That's it~! Now I'm getting 6 hours screen time on GA10!

Mine wasn't shiny at all. In fact I like the flat rubbery finish on the case - makes it A LOT easier to hold/grip. The battery though does not seem to be much different than the stock one. I paid $10 for it. It's Trexell but I'm not content with it. I've heard people say that they need to condition it,. I've already let it run down to 0% until it shut off. Recharged it fully. Still haven't seen a difference.

What battery app are people referring to???? Because the stock one doesn't seem to work well....

What tools did you use to cut out the back of the otter box case. I have the same phone and case and am waiting for my Trexcell battery to come in.
I am going to cut out the back of my case to and don't want to mess it up as they are not cheap.

Thx!
