Wouldn't you know it, upgraded to 3.0 and my GPS won't lock LOL.
Tried fasterfix and a couple of different modems. Guess I'll flash back to 2.9.2 to see if GPS works there first since its the easiest thing to do and I'll report back.

you know, that's the first thing I do after flashing a rom. I run outside and try to get a GPS lock lol All the other stuff is put aside until I get solid lock. Good luck. GPS on 3.0 worked for me right off the bat.

Is there a way to check each call duration in the call logs because I can't find it? I if not can this be implemented?

There are plenty of third party apps that will do this. It is not a feature of the embedded android Gingerbread OS.
Edit: Poor choice of words. I meant it's not a feature I've ever seen embedded.

You know, I think it may be my Waze navigation app also. Somebody just posted that theirs isn't working either.
Anyone know how to use the app GPS Status? I think it's locking but I have no idea how to read it unless it's supposed to generate an error if the gps can't lock.

I think once you get locked, it'll show how many satellites you're locked on. That's how I use it. I also use GPS test and it does the same thing but shows the satellites in a bar graph. Then I just use Google maps and try to GPS my position right there. It'll start off with like 1500 meters, so I just exit out and go back in and see if it gets more accurate.

Make sure you turn off wifi if you're connected to a router. I've notice when I'm on wifi, Google maps keeps the accuracy at 20 meters and not closer. Without wifi and just on 3g/gps, i can get an accurate reading of 6-8 meters.

Ok perfect. Yes, my GPS is fine. I guess the Waze network is down. I really hope it's a temporary thing, it's such a cool nav app. I had to rely on my regular car GPS today .

For a great list of safe apps to remove, download (this link is on the OP):

http://www.buildarom.com/E4GT/Calkulin's_Bare_ROM_Converter_for_E4GT_v2.0.zip

Open it with 7-zip then open the Remove apps with Notepad++ or something similar. It is a great list of apps that are safe to remove. You can even edit it to remove all the apps that you want while leaving the rest.

(7-zip and notepad++ are windows applications.)

edit: s9amme beat me to it also this link lists all the removed apks without needing to download open with notepad.

I just installed using the link you provided.

Everything looks great except how do I get the clock back? Or is there another clock you guys recommend?

Any and all removed apps can be found in "/sdcard/Removed_Apps"

To push them back to system apps, you will have to push them to the system folder using adb or root explorer or something else of that type. There are a lot of clocks available, though. So if you are unwilling to do the research, a new clock may be easiest. Clocks are not a priority for me, so I am not in the know as far as comparable or better clocks  but if you search these forums, I am sure that you will find a lot of information.

Don't get me wrong, Telenav and Google are ok but once I used Waze for a few days, it's pretty amazing. The voice interface is better, and so many people are using it that you get realtime traffic, police, accidents announced to you as you're coming up to them.

OMG dude, Google 'call duration android'. To find ANYTHING on the internet the key is keeping it simple when doing a search.
My results returned this website:

Guys...need a hand as I must be missing something stupid...

I've been running 1.3 since release without issue. However, I have been unable to flash 1.3a or 1.4.

After replying I went ahead and downloaded Waze for myself. It looks cool. Maybe a little cartoonish but what the hell lol I'll give it a try tomorrow on the way to work. There are quite a few users in the Dallas/Ft Worth area so hopefully the traffic is accurate enough.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Thanks given!

It is a pretty fun app for gps. Wiped data on mine and its working again. Give it a couple of days though it takes a little getting used to but grows on you. :)

Thanks, I just ended up using the small sense clock widget. Perfect for my needs.

I really don't understand all the people that have nothing but bad feedback for this ROM... People there is nothing wrong with 3.0. On the contrerary it is smooth and fast as fu**... if you guys are experiencing lags, errors, crashes, etc. Then YOU guys are doing something wrong... either you guys are not wiping something or just fu**ing up one way or another... if YOU guys don't know how to flash properly go to YouTube search for QBKING77 and check out his videos.. he shows ALOT of tutorials... and if that doesn't help then get the fu** out of deving your android phone and go get an iPhone you should fit right in... guys but seriously Calks is one of the best devs here in the E4GT forum.. instead of crying like pussys try to figure out what went wrong.. BTW I highly recommend fresh installs for all roms and PLEASE if your one of those people that just blame the devs for your own mistakes then please stop being lazy and create your own ROM I'm pretty sure yours should rock.. hahahaha....

Dude, settle down internet badass...

Your ROM is running with no problems? Great. If someone else is having problems, that doesn't mean they're flashing their phone wrong. Every phone has a different environment and variables. Changing one little built in setting on the phone could give someone a problem with another feature down the road.

    Based on rooted 2.3.6 / EL29

    ROM includes:
    Rogue Gunslinger kernel
    Busybox
    and more
(Some removed apps are in the sdcard/Removed_Apps folder)

    MODs included:
    Tweaked system(Very FAST)
Kernel can be undervolted using included Tegrak profiles
Crawrj's & Maddoggin's Hotspot hacks to unlock Sprint Hotspot & USB tethering
Moved dalvik-cache to cache partition(now if it runs low on space, it will move back to Data partition)
Reduced auto-brightness range for better battery life
    Removed haptic feedback from dialer
Notification bar will display TRUE network speeds, 2G(1x) & 3G(EVDO)
Camera can be used with less than 15% battery & during phone calls
Raised audio bitrate for most video recordings modes
Volume rockers can be used to take pictures
Reboot, Recovery & Download power menu options
Swapped phone & message buttons in dialer
    Removed mandatory Exchange security policy
TouchWiz launcher displays 5 dock icons & 5x4 app drawer
Volume keys will wake phone from sleep
    Disabled 100% battery notifications
    Reduced promixity sensor delay
    Browser UA string selection
    Removed Camera sounds
    Removed messaging from call logs
    Colored notification icons
    Battery % on battery meter
    Transparent notification background
    Removed USB Debug notification
    Relaxed MMS compression ratio
Raised MMS recipient limit to 500
Annoying ads in programs are blocked
    ICS Transitions
    And other misc tweaks/mods

System has also been de-odex'd, apk's have been optimized & aligned

    Notes about Battery Saver script

Can be used with any kernels that have init.d support

It completely eliminates the need for an application to set CPU speeds or profiles
Easily customizable if you use a text editor(scripts located in /system/etc/init.d)
It will set Max CPU speed to 800MHz & Min CPU speed to 200MHz when a sleep
If SetCPU, Overclock Widget, Android Overclock or QuickClock Advanced Overclock are detected, the script is ignored, so it will not affect them
Awake tweak will speed up the CPU to max speed for 5 secs after waking up to eliminate any lag while unlocking, etc, then it will return to the profiles

    Preset profiles are:
    1.2GHz - 100-85%
    1.0GHz - 84-36%
    800MHz - 35-0%

And just an FYI, even at 800MHz, the phone still operates very well & smooth but the battery saving are the real benefit

    v3.0
Switch kernel to Rogue Gunslinger v1.4.1(Undervolting zips in FAQ work again)
    Tweaked Battery Saver script
Tweaked Dalvik to Cache script(now if it runs low on space, it will move back to Data partition)
    Some UI tweaks

    Added
Awake tweak to battery saver script(it will speed up the CPU to max speed for 5 secs after waking up to eliminate any lag while unlocking, etc, then it will return to the profiles)
