READ the FIRST PAGE AGAIN. There has to be a clue in there somewhere why it doesnt work for AOSP.
First of all thanks for the great efforts on this mod... I wanna try it as it looks awesome, however im on AOKP 32 and as i read this build is causing issues with this mod, if i reverted back to 31 will it work fine and what about performance issues with mod, is swiping pages in APP Drawer laggy??
this is what i mean:
its not fullscreen and because of that videos can't play in native HD.
Hey, I still get FC on SystemUI.apk after trying your method. I'm on AOKP B32. DPI 128.What bugs are you talking about exactly ?
The fix I provided is to enable TabletUI on (legacy) 240 dpi devices since we can't get tablet ui by lowering lcd density only (128 dpi) it will cause system ui to force close so we have to edit source code in frameworks/base/services..
With build 32 we can now modify the statusbar softbuttons in TabletUI also and probably more
1. Change your DPI
- In AOKP's ROM-Control go to General UI, LCD Density, Change density to whatever, Set it to 192 and DO NOT reboot yet
- On other ROM's edit this line in your build.prop: ro.sf.lcd_density=192
- 192 is for Galaxy Nexus only! You can calculate the magic value for your phone, the formula has been explained here.
I flashed build 31 with wipe and everyting but i still got the 3 dots i thought this an issue for build 32 only?
For the people who seem to be having issues, I have included all the apk's needed to run tablet mode in the correct locations for AOKP build 31 and placed Vending.apk in this Gapps package. I just tested this on my phone, wipe data/cache/dalvik, flash the rom and gapps as normal, then go through the steps in the op (setting the density, etc.), and you should be good to go.
You still need to get a keyboard, I have not included one in this since swype isn't supposed to be distributed on xda and that's all I use
I was planning on creating my own tablet rom, but I've been having problems with my own builds, and wanted everything to be set up like this by default. Otherwise it wouldn't really be thread worthy, but I figured posting this rom in this thread would be fine.
All credit goes to the OP and roman for AOKP!

Thanks, if you can fix fullscreen mod on videos & youtube that would be awesome

OK I got it working good but the dock seems rather large compared to everything else or is it just me?

Anyone else having issues with Nova Launcher_1.1.2beta2. I am getting "Unfortunately, Nova Launcher has stopped"
I'm on CM9 Kang April 25.
Sounds like a top tip but didn't work for me Is this during the tablet mode, or during phone mode and after this I change it to tablet mode? Thanks for your great work for this great mod.
for those of you who haven't noticed, nova 1.1 is out and oh yeah it is tablet mode ready, thanks to your votes.
whats left are small blemishes, already made a writeup in their thread. i guess until the icons are still small i'll keep the hack myself but i'll link nova on the OP later this day and take it off when beta 1.2 comes out.
