I might start some kernel dev'ing, I have a lot of programming experience. Just 0 experience with android in that regard. I was just starting to tinker with app development but kernel dev'ing might be a better place to start because I have more c/c

Replied before I finished. I meant to say I have more c/c+ experience then java. So it might be easier to start with kernels.

Yeah start with kernels. You might even want to try a few linux kernels for your pc first then android.

Man I feel you. I'm on my second shift and I'm fed up too. The first time, I had the phone for a day and I dropped it (on carpet) and after, the front screen part that slides up was so loose that I had to hold it up with my thumb. I got a new one the next day and then I didn't even open it I waited to buy an otter box for it and now I've dropped it about 30 times and I've had it for almost a year and a half. I suggest getting an otter box. It is worth the money. Trust me.

I bought an Otter Box for my Shift. Best thing I ever purchased for it. My OG EVO also has one.
