[S-Off] Facepalm S-Off for HTC Devices - Droid DNA

When I try to drag and drop the PL8320000-DNA.zip file onto the root of my device, it says that it cannot copy it and when I try to open it, it says that it is invalid. What do I do?
The img file drags and drops fine.

I've done the SuperCID and got the "2222222" confirmation. It simply won't let me open the PL8320000-DNA.zip file. Maybe it's corrupted?
And I am still on 1.15.605.4 710RD so it's not an issue of having the 2x version either.
I rooted early on but since then, the 2.04 update came and more recently the 2.06 update. The device nags me to update all the time and it gets annoying having to reboot due to the SIM card malfunctioning, that's why I really want to flash the 2.06 update, but I need S-off first, and I can't get S-off if the PL8320000-DNA.zip file isn't working for me.

If it says corrupt when trying to unzip, then you should try to download it again. Then try to move it to your storage.

I've tried that and I got the same result. It never said it was corrupted, I just guessed it was. It said that it was "invalid".
If need be, we could set up a teamviewer session if I can't get it figured out. Thanks

If I am not mistaken, you should not put that file on your device. You should fastboot flash it.

Thanks to beaups for helping me out in IRC.
My point of confusion for it not working was that i wasn't sure if the zip and img files needed to be put onto the root of the device, and I was simply running the cmd from the start menu by typing cmd instead of shift+right clicking where the files were stored and running the cmd from there. Hope this info helps someone else who runs into the same issue as me!
