So, although I am not a complete newbie, I am new enough to have messed something up and not know how to correct it. As it stands now I know that I have my HTC One V (CDMA - Virgin Mobile) unlocked and rooted. I am trying to install [ROM][PRIMOC:CDMA][4.1.2] PACman v15 | All-In-One | PA-2.2.3 | AOKP-B5 | CM10. However, now when my phone boots it first shows the HTC screen with the red message "This build is for development purposes only..." Then it shows the animated Virgin Mobile flash screen which does not play the music completely and then I am to the HTC quietly brilliant startup screen and it just hangs there.
When I boot into fastboot mode on the phone I have the following options:
hboot
fastboot
recovery
factory reset
hboot usb
image crc
show barcode
Can someone help me out of this mess? Trying to get the phone I bought for my Mom for Christmas working...
when u say it may take a while to boot first time, how long? i been waiting half a day for mine to boot and it still on boot animation!
using Ujelly (newest)
and boot-TK-USB-201211140025! please help i did all the necessary instruction provided ( the mac one) tryed many other but all the same result! what am i doing wrong?
Edit: reflash the rom the clear cache then factory reset
then reflashed the kernel not im stuck in bootloop! it just never ends!
Edit: redownloaded a proper rom ( had a wrong one DERP!) and it works!
Thanks so mush for a good guide!
i would really insist u to use TWRP
go to my post and look under the topic recovery images
write a reply if all goes well
I'm on a Mac. From what I understand, there not a guide for those using a mac to install TWRP. Thus, I'm forced to use CWM. However, the problem was solved by upgrading the version of cWM to 6.0.1.5.
If I'm wrong, correct me. Id love to use TWRP.
no no just replace the cwm boot image with the twrp one and the same process as cwm
instructions for mac are given in the post

Now, and forever, do this to install a kernel:
- Go developer.android.com and download the SDK & move it to your home directory ("~" or /Users/<username>)
- Go to <sdk-location>/tools and launch "Android"
- Download the platform tools
- Open terminal
- Open Finder to <sdk-location>/platform-tools
- In terminal, type "sudo cp"; drag adb from the Finder window into the Terminal window; type "/usr/bin/"; hit enter
- Enter your password
- Repeat the above three steps, but drag "fastboot" instead of "adb"
- Close terminal
- Open terminal (it sounds weird, but just do it)
- Download kernel
- Connect phone to computer
- Make sure USB Debugging is enabled (Settings>Development>USB Debugging)
- In terminal, type "adb reboot bootloader"
- In terminal, type "fastboot flash boot"; drag in the kernel from finder; hit enter
Examples:
Code:sudo cp /Users/Username/android-sdk-mac/platform-tools/adb /usr/bin/ sudo cp /Users/Username/android-sdk-mac/platform-tools/adb /usr/bin/ adb reboot recovery fastboot flash boot /Users/Username/Downloads/boot.img
