[Q] HTC One X Query

Morning Chaps,

Im quite the novice when it comes to phones and I was just wondering if my phone is locked to 3, do i need to unlock the BL, root and also flash the device?

As i followed the instructions but when inserting another sim i get the network locked message.

Any advice guys?

The unlocking of the bootloader and rooting as nothing to do with been sim locked. What you could do is phone 3 and tell them you are going abroad on holiday and need it unlocking so you can put another cheaper sim in when your abroad.

I thought about that,

basically iv asked around and was told that even the unlocking websites cant guarantee these codes working

someone had also informed me you cant unlock the htc one x expecially if its on 3

Give them a bell, its worth a shot. Didnt realise they sim lock their contract phones (apart from iPhone and Blackberry and specials), a lot of other providers dont care because your tied to them with the contract.

Hi,

are there any tools on here that i can use that will unlock the phone?

also if i request an unlock code from a reputable online source will it worked even if i have unlocked the boot loader and flashed?

I made a Video how to Unlock. In this Video i used the all- in - one- Tool from hasoon2000.

He's wanting to SIM unlock the phone so he can use it on other networks, not unlock the bootloader.
