Default [Q] Question about deodex

Hi guys! I have a quick question about deodexing. If I deodex a stock app (the ones that came with TouchWiz and require its framework), the will run on CM7 (in other words, it removes the tw-framework requirement)?

If not, how can I 'port' these apps, remove that firmware requirement?

Thanks!

Trying to explain a little better: I want to remove the tw-framework dependency. If deodexing don't to this, what does? What I can do?

Decompile all apps, twframework and start editing smali and xml. It seems like quite a job, and I wish you the best of lucks.

Where to edit and which files exactly? No idea, have to look at the code and follow the references to twframework.

If I copy the twframework files to an Cyanogen system, it would work, then?

Seems a lot more easier!

No. It aint that easy bro! Samsung has made it very very tough to port!
No one has been able to port whole twframework on XDA till now!

Well, I didn't meant to port the entire framework anyway. The only thing that keeps me from using CM all the time is the lack of some stock apps, and the ports I've found weren't good enough to my taste. (yes, I'm a d*ck when it comes to quality, it HAS to be perfect, otherwise it won't do)

I guess I'll just stay with the stock ROM. Thanks guys!
