2-installed Cyanogens mod 9.
but in general the rom is not stable and camera not working and I prefer to go back for the Samsung rom since I need Google maps and other program not working with this rom and keep on crashing
Wish everybody good luck
Hi, thanks for the tip...
Do you know if it works with the new CM9 experimental build with Linux 3.1.10 kernel?

I installed the experimental CM9 ROM from the 29th Sep and was hoping that it would give me GSM call functionality.
I had an older modem XXKGG7500 (or something along those lines) which allowed me to SMS.

I then flashed the modem supplied with the ROM and lost the SMS functionality and still no GSM functionality.

Then tried the modem from this link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1875024.

Any ideas on how I can troubleshoot this??

Hi,
I also tried some configurations..
With this configuration you can enjoy GSM Calls (it worked for me, I can call, end a call and my Tab rings when i call from another phone )
But the cameras won't work, because you have to flash a cm9 Nighly.

1. Full Wipe
2 Flash Modem" CWM_I9103XXLQ3_Modem.zip" from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...5&d=1347032493
3. Flash "cm-9-20120923-NIGHTLY-p3.zip" from here http://get.cm/get/jenkins/8629/cm-9-20120923-NIGHTLY-p3.zip
4. Reboot, to see everything is ok
5. Boot to Recovery
5 Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache
6. Flash "Voice Call Enable [CM9] ICS 4.0.4 ROM Build 1.zip" from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...6&d=1347169154
7.Reboot

This worked for me.GSM Calls fully functional.

OK, so I got GSM call functionality by flashing the experimental CM9 ROM and flashing the modem.zip from the link above. Previously I tried to flash the binary file with fastboot until I realised that it could be done using recovery. I also flashed the Voice Call Enable zip file but I don't think it is required.

Now I have SMS functionality again, I can make calls, I can receive calls if I am in the phone app. I cannot end calls ....

I think the Voice Call Enable file clashes with the functionality which is built in the experimental ROM. I think ....

Progress ...

Is there a way to get SMS working on 10.1v with Stock ICS Firmware? Maybe a Modem and Voice Call Enable zip like for the 10.1? I flashed those before I saw it was the wrong Tablet. After that the 10.1v didn't boot completely anymore. I restored it to stock again now.
