Its not screen mirroring he's talking about. From what he explains from he's post he can only watch movies, listen to music and watch pictures from sony's apps.. Screen mirroring is basicly the same as connecting the tablet to a monitor with HDMI. Showing a mirror image from the tablet (Hence the name "Screen Mirroring") except it sends the signal through the wireless network and to the tv instead.
I can do the same as the OP can through dlna (throw fuction), but screen mirroring is, for me, only viable through a MHL adapter since my tv is an LG tv.
But in case you need to know how I use throw, then here's how I do it. (Its quite easy):
Under settings, got into Xperia.
Tap throw settings.
Tap Throw to choose your desired output (Ie. TV, PC etc. Must be DLNA compatible)
Tap "Add new device"
Tap ok and wait for the device to search your network and lookup your desired device.
Choose your device from the list.
Once the device is added you can tap throw again to make it active.
Enjoy your videos etc on your tv.
Once you have set this up you can enable or disable throw whenever you want from within the apps (Album, Movies, Walkman)
