I got the mounting /system error at one point and fixed it by flashing my ext4 converter (from the ArpegGioMod ROM thread) and then reflashing the CM9 beta.
FWIW: Wifi required the patch to work in my case.

im installed jbed( http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1189303 ) but it still fc.jbed work good in 2.3.x but in 4.0 it does'nt work.

PEOPLE DON'T USE PHIEXS PATCH!!! It's really outdated and will mess everything up! You can try this: http://galaxyics.com/news/view/11 This should fix it

Every arm v7 with adreno 2xx is supported.

I know but i think they can do something with it because our gio has the same gpu (Adreno 200 ) but not the same processor
Armv7 is a instruction set, just like armv6-vfp.
The only problem is that the gpu drivers use armv7, and you can't run armv7 binaries on armv6 because it uses instructions that our cpu doesn't have.

For me on cm 7.2 it works perfect but never tried on cm9 b5,on cm9b4 it did'nt even install it

I went to the thread and flashed the ext4 converter from CWM. Still no working for me. Still getting the black screen
I still suggest to remove all partitions and make ext4 partition + normal partition and then try to flash it.

here's some report from me
Tested & Working:
- RIL
- proximity
- touchscreen with multi touch (but it'll give alot of warning on logcat. trying to disable them)
- gps
- compass (please test)
- accelerometer for autorotate
- 4 pin headset + button (like from samsung)
- microphone
- root & busybox
- call & sms
- packet data with 2G(GPRS/EDGE) & 3G (UMTS/HSDPA)
- wifi
- bluetooth
- USB mass storage
- wired & hotspot tether *
* wired & hotspot tether use 3rd application. u can download from this post's attachment
Not Working:
- 3 pin headset (must have ICS source to fix it)
- hardware acceleration (our gpu libraries from gingerbread is not 100% working on ICS. and qualcomm isnt release libraries for ICS yet)
- camera (problem with HAL)
- FM Radio
- BLN (liblight from gingerbread is not working. need to recompile liblight with some modification for BLN. the problem is i dont have ICS source)
- find bug? just report it
