POST 1 : - TRANSPERENT AOSP GINGER

This is based on AKASH.GUPTA' S MIUIWiz port with 9 lockscreen mod. Also works with normal ROMs.

STEPS TO INSTALL : -

Any applied theme will be wiped off.:eek::eek:

1) Copy zip to SDcard.
2) Reboot in Recovery -> Wipe cache & dalvik-cache.
3) Goto Advanced -> Reboot Recovery.
4) Install theme using apply zip from SDcard.
5) Reboot.

Note : - Steps 2 and 3 not required if you were already on a theme with 9lockscreen mod.
No icon pack included. If you want I can give link for normal MIUI icons pack. Or one used in Dash Black.

Settings.apk is in /system/app/ in my update.zip. That is the usual path. But in some ROMs like G3Mod, Settings.apk is in /system/framework/.
In that case move settings.apk from /system/app/ to /system/framework/ using root explorer.

Hi dirend! Can you give a look to the theme for JPU rom please?
I have already installed it on kyorarom 0.3.1 and it work but there is some imperfection, for example the transparent status bar. Sometime is transparent, sometime not. :confused:

Nice theme.....i am using it for a while now.....but a little bug i want to report and want it to be fixed asap.....

---->>the Icons(system Default)....gets reduced in size......why????
can you please fix that up?????


I am using the Non-transparent one ......

I tried to fix it up but I don t have the source used by Akash. Only Akash can fix it up. Hope he does it soon.

Hi!

Why can not I flash PURE AOSP Gingerbread THEME (NO TRANSPERANCY) on the JPU?
The phone normally runs to me with the old design and is in addition no settings

I dont like much the theme of kyora, I prefer this theme to it. :)

Hi dhirend, I have a problem when install the theme. After installation the phone stuck at the boot logo g3mod. I wait one hour and doesn't happen anything. What can be the problem?

Edit: I have installed 9locksreen version on kyrillos 8.2.1.

Did you wipe cache and dalvik cache?? Do it again and it should work. Its becuse the change in jar files so you will have to wipe cache and dalvik.

    This if AOSP Gingerbread theme that I ported. Reuploaded because Megaupload got seized. And this time no MIUI version. No small icons bug. All fixed. Enjoy.

    Tested to work on Kyrillos 9.0+, Viveks 5.0+, DutchMods 5.0+, KyoraROM 0.5.0+.
    If you are not on anyone of the above ROMs, you need to flash the zip from this thread first.
