I'm attempting to use this with my Telus i747m, and it's having issues with mobile data; a lot of the time, if the phone starts up with mobile data enabled, the radio will cut out entirely and not return until a reboot; without mobile data enabled, the radio works fine, but cuts out instantly if mobile data is enabled.

This doesn't seem to happen for the first boot or two, oddly enough.

I've tried some of the other suggestions in the thread and they don't seem to alleviate the problem.

You see the correct APN Settings right? Is it also configured for data as well? Just wondering...

Does anyone know if mirroring works?

You mean to a TV? Not sure....good question, give it a shot, I don't have the equipment to test...

Yes and yes.

edit:

Go into Settings -> About Phone and tap on Build Number several times to get the development options to appear.

edit x2:

Turns out there's a second APN for Telus (the one labelled ISP Telus as opposed to SP Telus), and using that one instead of the normal one means mobile data is usable. Weird.

Hey Mike, been running since this AM but ran into a problem after. Data/Cell both stopped working, was at work and never had access to a puter so I couldn't post any info. Other than the camera and my small hickup, all seems good!! Going to charge and try again.

Make sure your APN settings are correct bro.... A number of users outside of AT&T and T-Mobile have reported it. I'm not sure how to fix it permanently since I don't have a phone related to these different carriers. But thats the only thing that stands out. AT&T and T-Mobile users don't experience it, which means it narrows down to just APN settings....

You mean no signal whatsoever? I had that earlier too, fixed it by taking SIM out while phone was on, put it back in, and reboot.

Yipper.... Gotta love it lol One of the things you put up with during testing. I would have done a log to see if anything popped up but was at work. Other than the fact that I never had Airplane mode on, it was just like i did but no Plane icon.... even tried to toggle it and see. including wipe and re-install. Going to try again here now shortly where I have the time now.

Loving it though..... was super smooth and fast.

Flash the latest AT&T modem included in the Modems thread. Worked like a charm for me. No problems now.

Just flashed. Super smooth install, everything works (that's supposed to). Good enough to be a DD. Hope to see the camera work someday :)

It was not about APN. I realized that CWM was not wiping my system. It's working now after I successfully wiped everything.
But I'm going back to CM10 because of that sdcard thing, I have around 8x folders named 0. lol

Weird... I recommend using TWRP to flash anyways. Seems to handle the new 4.2.1 framework set up much better imo

TWRP still yields the /0/0/0 effect, for the record, so it's probably something to do with the image itself. I'd love to know what exactly is causing that (problematic install script?).

So this rom is nice except for my data speeds SUCK!!! I'm in an LTE area and I'm getting less than 1mb speeds. I'm on ATT. I even tried reflashing and setting up a new APN. Not complaining, just putting this out there in case anyone else is having the same issue. You're not alone.

I've seen someone who had LTE going... They did admit it wasn't as fast but they were getting 20mbps while they were use too 30mbps or so....

I appear to be stuck on 3G on bells network. Data works but when I run a speed test it errors out halfway through. APN is correct and all.

Aight peeps d2 devices are good and ready, just hasn't been made public yet. We're making sure all other devices are good to go so others aren't sitting down wondering when their device is going to be updated :). Once all devices are primed and ready, we'll push... But rest assured d2 devices are uploaded and ready for release... relax peeps, it's coming...
    23
We'll be compiling a release for either tonight or the morning. I'm waiting on something to merge.... lock screen shortcuts, ex: long press home for flashlight. Once that merges we'll compile for d2tmo and d2att...

Just wanted to update you guys. Thanks for being super cool and patient. We'll keep them coming!

On a side note, having issues with AOKP compiling.... it compiled for a LONG time but is having framework issues in regards to tagging during compilation... will continue to work at it. Either that or just start doing our own builds and cherry picking.... haven't decided yet. Things are going to get a little more busy soon, but we'll keep at least daily builds from CM10.1 coming til nightlies hit...

I can see why task asked you not to post in his thread.

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2

One huge turn off for me is when you do something out of kindness and all people do is ask for more. I'm not gonna be an ass about that guys comment, but I also want him to know that if he's not happy with the level of functionality this "unofficial" ROM has, he can piss off. That's why its just that. If he doesn't find all he needs in this ROM, there's plenty others. The name he's making for himself isn't one I'd wanna be associated with...

If he or anyone else isn't happy with what's here...simply try something else. Go build it yourself and see if you can get everything working without support from Samsung.

One thing I learned about hosting anything in threads is that you can't please everyone. Its impossible. That being said guys... Besides the obvious issues, thanks for remaining patient as we continue to deliver the latest of what CyanogenMod has to offer. :)

    #endrant :D

So the nightlies have finally gotten under way!!! What this means now you ask? Well my kind peeps the best part about AOSP... It's time to add a few cherry-picks. We're shooting for that sweet spot between CM10.1 and AOKP. We don't want to go all out with too many features that can grow to be overwhelming, we're going for a sleek, smooth, and useful build. We'll be updating, but not as often as nightlies.... We'll be trying to maintain AT LEAST one build a week.... We also want to keep you guys up-to-date with the latest that CM has to offer.... Stick around peeps, we're really just getting started...
