This looks interesting, I am gonna download it and try it out. Is there the option to allow my volume keys to unlock the phone?

Well the good news is that I went in and edited the updater script and it installed just fine. Even from the Devil kernel it flashed. I did notice however that the flash started off well the first time through and then abruptly finished and said it was done. I rebooted into recovery and got stuck in a bootloop. Just pulled the battery and then 3 buttoned it into recovery again. Re-flashed without problems and we're up and running.
Edit: I like the fact that you have build prop tweaks in the settings menu and that there is an option for changing the DPI... however why can I only go larger or am I missing something? I want to go the other way.
Edit 2: I was able to install build prop editor as I've done on other ROMs and just went in and changed DPI to what I wanted but I'm still curious as to why I can't go to smaller sizes in the settings tab.
Also the fast charge setup seems to be acting up on my phone. It shows enabled after a reboot but when I connect to PC it still tries to mount the USB storage instead of just charging.

That all depends on your particular phone and what you like.............only way to tell is try'em both.
I have a copy of the updater script I have modified. That is what got me past the status 7 error. If anyone wants me to post it, just ask. This is a really nice smooth ROM overall, but I am experiencing force close issues with Exchange services. I have installed GAPPS JB 7-26-12. Any ideas?
Meh, oh well. Really wanted to try this out but Status error 7 here too. Was running slim JB/semaphore kernel. Since my phone won't connect to my computer for some odd reason, i'll be reflashing slim until error 7 gets resolved
I had to download a Kernel first (forgot that Kernel and Recovery are together on Captivate). Downloaded BB6, gapps, and flashed with CWM (after flashing initial kernel with ODIN). Freaking amazing. Two devices now on BB6, over two years old, and running JB. Go team BAKED!

You might look into flashing a different kernel before flashing the ROM. I've had issues with a couple of the newest roms not flashing because they aren't compatible with the kernel or its partition layout. A different kernel may not help though because like you're considering I tried semaphore and it gave the same error.
When I ran into this error I ended up one-clicking back to kk4 flashed a cwm kernel and then was able to flash said ROMs without problem. But as soon as I flashed back to my favorite ROM (hellybean) I would get the errors again.
Additionally before I went back to kk4 I tried flashing cm10 which resulted in the same error.

You don't have to flash back to kk4 for status 7 error. If you have time and patience then follow the steps:
1. Download 7zip and notepad++ on your comp. (Assuming you use Windows, not needed for linux).
2. Open .zip file in 7zip and go in Meta-inf/com/google/android/updater-script. Extract updater-script on desktop ( or anywhere you feel) and open file in Notepad++.
3. Delete lines which say assert and getprop or (ro.build.product), usually the 1st few lines.
4. Save the file and paste it back to the zip file and replace the previous updater-script.
5. Flash the rom now.
Status 7 error usually works out with this solution, if you still have problems post the updater-script file here most of the people or i can edit and reupload it here. - Fully built from the ground up from AOSP 4.1.1 (then cherry picked from everyone!!!
