Amazing! Quick and easy!

LOVE IT!!!
Rooted my LG Optimus L9 P769 in 10 seconds on WindowsXP!! Where others failed, this Cydia worked!!

Currently running Android 4.1.2 JB, Kernel 3.0.31, Build Number JZ054K, Software Version P76920h.

New KitKat root

Hello there! As you know, the new 4.4.2 update come out not so long ago, and i need root (and i think not only me :D). So if you can, please update impactor that will work with KitKat. BTW, i used this before update, worked fine.

I second this motion... I've recently got a d605 (was redirected here with it for rooting), only to find out, that it won't work with 4.4.2...

Hey guys, I'm new to rooting android, JDK, and working through linux.. so sorry for my lack of know-how..

Anyways, I downloaded both the 32bit and 64bit versions of this program for Linux, but when I click on the file "Impactor" nothing happens..

What am I doing wrong? I extracted all files to the desktop, plugged in my lgms769, turned on usb debugging. but nothing happens?

Can anybody point me in the right direction?

Any help is appreciated. I've been trying to root this device for the last month in my free time, but have not had any luck! Frustrating, especially because it's such a great phone and all I want to do is move it to my new t mob carrier... ahh. :eek:

I'm getting Signature Bugs Unavailable on LG-MS769.

OS - 4.1.2
Build # - JZO54K
Software Version - LGMS76910f

All I want to do is to remove the bloatware. Please help.

I rooted my Lg l9 II with towelroot .I was skeptic,but it worked.I'm on official 4.4.2
My lg is european version.Just google "towelroot",and you find it easely.

How do I know if it worked?

How do I check if everything was successful? I was trying to move my facebook app to the external SD using Link2sd but it said it can't.

The message is...
App2SD is not supported by your device. Because your device has a primary external storage which is emulated from the internal storage. You can link the app in order to move its files to your SD card.

hi I just update my lg l9 2 on kitkat d60520d,I can not root my phone with impactor,i got the same message as many here signature bugs unvailable".SO how do i root this phone,some guide please,link,something.

    Requirements:
    • Computer
    • USB Cable

    Procedure:
    1. Install latest LG Driver installed (available on LG website).
    2. Enable Developer Options on you Android device.
    3. Connect your device to the computer throught the USB cable.
    4. Download Cydia Impactor from http://www.cydiaimpactor.com .
    5. Extract the zip and run impactor.exe (with administrator right if you are on vista or later).
    6. Click on start.
    7. Wait some seconds
    8. Reboot
    9. Go to PlayStore and install SuperSu or get APK from ApkMirror

    Recents updates:
    Like some users reported LG fixed both masterkey exploit used by impactor to get root, so if you are running a recent firmware or you took an OTA this method may not work, impactor will return "SIGNATURE BUGS UNAVAILABLE"
