Xposed Installer/ App Settings
a. Open Xposed Installer, press Install/Update. It will ask you to reboot but don't do it yet
b. Go to MODULES Tab and select "Xposed App Settings"
b. Now reboot your device...DONE
You can now configure Per-DPI- App via Xposed App Settings. To get tabletUI look on settings, email, gmail and other apps, you may use a 220dpi (or a value close to this) and 800x1280 screen dpi.
Nova Launcher Fine Tuning Guide
a. First check if there is a "data" folder on your sd-card
b. If not, extract the "data" folder as it is on your sd-card
c. If you already have a "data" folder on your sd-card, then simply extract the "com.teslacoilsw.launcher" folder in there
d. When rom's first boot completes, simply press the red "Restore previous nova backup" message. It will automatically recognize the backup file
e. The name of the backup, in case you already have others, is "Nova_Tweaked_2.2L". Select it, done. No need to reboot
f. This procedure will auto adjust launcher preferences to the best possible for speed and stability. It will also hide the apps that are accessible via settings menu. You can still adjust preferences to your taste but to show the hidden apps you need to buy nova prime.
gps.conf edit for non-European Users
a. Go to system/etc/gps.conf
b. First line and replace "europe" with the
continent you live in as listed below...
DON'T USE COUNTRY NAMES

c. Save file, reboot and that's about it!
d. It's is strongly suggested at first run, to have data enabled in order for a-gps servers to update data. And of course you need to be in open air with your gps on
NOTE: The gps.conf file provided in PB, is universal. It shouldn't by any means create issues for you. It should work fast and reliable for everyone. This was done after excesive studies. If you find other gps mods, with numerous lines added, which actually make things worse, please have a look at this first

What is the difference between BeanStalk and PitchBlack?
- BeanStalk is used as a base for PitchBlack. So basically PB is a modded BS rom
- BeanStalk is a clean rom while PitchBlack is a full rom, containing gapps, various mods and selected pre-installed apps
- PitchBlack takes the name from its signature theme which offers inverted/darker colors throught the whole system.
- BeanStalk or PitchBlack? Want a clean rom? Choose the first! Like PitchBlack theme and additions? Choose the second. Either way it's a win-win situatiom
PB 2.2 LEGACY GUIDE
1. About ViPER4Android
- FX is your main effects app for headset, speaker and bluetooth
- XHiFi is mainly used to restore audio quality for bad sounding files. You won't be using this much
- FX and XHiFi can work as standalone apps or together. To work together, simply choose "Compatible" mod from both apps through settings and reboot

- Beanstalk HALO is actually HALO itself. It's code is already merged into rom
- PA HALO))) is an extra that can work with the above and gives you the ability to configure any app to have persistent floating notifications
3. Beanstalk PIE and LMT
- You have 2 PIES. Choose the one that suits you better
4. Nexus Louder
- I have deleted some of it's components. This should not interfere with ViPER. This should provide the louder volume on certain areas such as in-call volume. All audio effects are provided by ViPER
5. What is "Dark Stalk"?
This feature is included in all Beanstalk builds and I decided to include it this time. It inverts framework.
Note that this cannot be applied simultaneously with pitchblack theme. I include it for those who like only a black framework while keeping apps unthemed in contrast with pitchblack that applies to various apps.
So in order to use dark stalk, you need first to revert to system theme and then apply it
