Hello there. I'm new to the S2. I just got it on Thursday. When it arrived, it was on Gingerbread 2.3.4! Long story short, I came straight up from GB to this rom (after rooting etc, of course) and have not experienced any problems with my SD card or my camera, If you are posting here to receive some help, why don't you state how you flashed (dirty flash? full wipe?) and how you restored apps, settings etc (TiBu?) so someone might help you. I'd suggest doing a full wipe and testing the rom before you install any apps...
To the dev: fantastic rom! I flashed AJK 1.6 and aside from a few kernel issues that I see have been addressed in subsequent updates, it's been smooth sailing. Looking forward to the updates!

Friend.. To clarify my experience... I all the time when change the ROM, made full wipe, format caché and system, cleaning kernel scrips.... That's the point.... It' se a Lottery... You have no problem... I only posterior my Case. I installed the first post from mlaws as usual. To restore, I use a Super Backup app. For me is more friendly than Tibu.
I dont know why its found this issue.
Maybe, I will install from the original thread and try with a fast hellraise to test the ROM later.

I think it works with ajk kernel but he mentioned having to leave it on a certain setting or it wouldn't work

I tried with two different. 4.2.2 ROMs and is not working properly.... For me... AVATAR rom and Captivating....
I have to use CM kernel and Siyah 4.3.3.... Damm

BLN works just fine when you use AJK + Captivating. There was a detailed post about that in the Captivating thread.
Been having a problem with the phone resetting itself. At first i thought it was b/c i put a custom wallpaper on the lockscreen. It was restarting maybe every 5 mintues. I changed it back to the default wallpaper and while it has improved, it still has been resetting/rebooting, but not at an alarming rate like it was yesterday.
Also, been having trouble with WiFi...it works, but its not instant like im accustomed to. Takes about 5 min for it to connect to my router.

But with some problems. Wifi wasn't working, but I posted a fix and another member posted a flashable fix. Bluetooth isn't working apparently, but I'm not really that familiar with the system files for BT since I never use it. Probably best to wait until the dev posts an update.
What do I need to get this working on my T-Mobile S2? Sorry I'm new to using skyrocket ROMs on my Hercule

Instructions
* Reboot into recovery
--- This step is for beginners, who is already on Xylon, you just have to dirty flash, no need for a clean flash. --
* Go to Wipe, select "Factory Reset"
* press Install.
* Select "xylon_devicename_000_xx-xx-2013.zip", "gapps-jb-2013xxxx-signed.zip" and your other packages..
* Then, swipe to install.
* Once all the processes is done, reboot.
* Wait for a couple of minutes, go n make cup of coffee for yourself.

3I'll try it out... Been having lots of freeze-ups after installing even though I did a full excessive wipe. Hopefully updating the kernel should solve this.

As Nick said, it's now AJK and it's been bumped up to 1.5
Just letting you know that AJK 1.5 has a bug that prevents deep sleep. Please use AJK v1.6 instead.2
