i tried arons 1.7 and 1.62 from hero because of the instructions on the recovery for 32a H boards (Tmobile USA)..

So, i have SPl 1.76.x and i was trying to go back to 1.33. Unfortunately at the moment i seem unable to get past my boot screen, i tried fastboot erase recovery and then reflash the pointed recovery on the OP, but, when i try fastboot boot recovery.img (i renamedfor ease of use), its still stuck on the boot screen, any ideas? IS there any way i can fastboot my way into chaning the SPL? ADB is a no go as i can only enter fastboot atm.

Just wondering if anyones looked into CPLD's. They seem to be dependant on the provider which leads me to believe its on the age of the phone.

What are the chances the number beside the CPLD is the amount of gates your board has? Maybe it means that the SPLs could be used on other phone types with the same amount of gates.

Meh, just bored and looking up stuff

I had either this setting
HBOOT-1.33.3004 (SAPP30000) : Sapphire PVT 32B DEV S-ON G : CPLD-10
or this one
HBOOT-1.33.0004 (SAPP10000) : Sapphire PVT 32B SHIP S-ON G : CPLD-10

Before I ran the Engineering SPL 1.33.2010 - MD5 : 865020FBDFBD9C08950076A701A8A003

My question is which Engineering SPL, or what do I do to go back to my original version with the "S on G"

Here's my issue, a friend bought a Htc Sapphire, unbranded & unlocked off eBay from Japan. He was trying to upgrade to something above android 1.5 and flashed the my touch 1.6 rom to the phone. What I'm trying to do is flash back to a unbranded state to use on AT&T here in the states and also use it abroad in Italy under Wind Mobile pre-paid. I was able to get it to pick up a data signal with the Wind Sim in phone by manually setting up the APN. It upgraded 3 times finally reaching android 2.2.1 via wifi hotspot. I flashed clockwork to the phone and rooted, then tried to install cyanogen 6.0.1 via RM and it hung at my touch splash screen. I then found and flashed back to android 1.5 and now I can't get the data connection back to start the process again. Any help to get me back on track would be appreciated.

Hboot is as follows:

Sapphire PVT 32B Ship s-off G
Hboot 1.33.006 (SAPP*****)
CPLD - 10

Check out this thread in case you have a perfected SPL (fastboot remote: not allow).

Proceed on your own risk, you might brick your phone!!!

The following SPLs "should" work on PVT 32A and PVT 32B boards :

    How to flash :
Skip step 2 and boot into recovery mode instead of step 3, if you already have a custom recovery flashed!
    1. Download the SPL of your choice and copy it to the root of your SD-card.
    2. Download the appropriate recovery here
    3. Boot in fastboot mode
      Code:
fastboot boot recovery-RAv1.2.0.G.img or fastboot boot recovery-RAv1.2.0.H.img
    4. Wait a while
    5. Choose Apply sdcard:choose zip and select the required SPL update
    6. Press the GREEN key once the update is done
    7. Press HOME + BACK to reboot

    Download

Engineering SPL 1.33.2004 by Crios is actually a hex-edit of SPL 1.33.2005 to fool updates.

    Original SPL list :
Please update us on any new SPLs so we can include them in this list. :)

    • ENG : Engineering version
    • SHIP : Shipment version
    • DEV : Development version (ION)
    • S-off and S-on : Security on and off (writing directly to nand or not) , most probably not SPL linked, S-on prevents you to downgrade.
    • PVT 32A (HTC branded) : 288MB RAM / Qualcomm MSM7200a
    • PVT 32B (Google branded) : 192MB RAM / Qualcomm MSM7201a
