flight does NOT bring connectivity back at all. The ONLY fix is to reboot the phone.

I think it happens when I have long periods of inactivity & lack of connection (for 2g and 3g) - this happens to me each day at work as the office does not have good reception at all (it drops in and out constantly). I notice it when I try to web browse or refresh pulse news app or sync fails.

at the weekends when I am at home I never get the dropouts.

I have not contacted HTC or vodafone about it.
Why not call in HTC customer service to let them know we have suffer this kind of data stall problem.
How often is this data stall problem appear? Can you meet this everyday?

I cant be bothered speaking to non-english speaking call centres about a problem affecting not many phones. These call centres are too annoying.

HTC could be different though I guess but no way I am bothering to phone Vodafone.

The problem can occur most days, Mon-Friday it happens every day or every 2 days.

Yes the issue appears to happen with 4.0.4 too. Have had to disable the usage limit again.

Im on my second One X (tegra 3) and same issue here as well... Im on AT&T and Im baffled. I have seen suggestions about Data Limit being off, but I never turned on that settings and that issue was always there. At work it works fine and homs its ok, but when im doing errands or am traveling (supermarket, bank, university etc) data is really inconsistant that it bugs the hell out of me to the point that it makes me want to get rid of it (please... dont make me)

Anyone have a definitive cause for this? Or is the int one x bands somehow conflicting with att towers since its made for the european market? We need to fix this issue soon
Carrier: AT&T USA
Current OS: Android 4.1.1 Jellybean (Stock/Rooted)
Current Device: Samsung Galaxy Nexus / Asus Nexus 7

I have the same problem on htc one s on Vodafone uk and there is an app called restart connections that works with out powering off. Common fault and htc are looking to add this to jelly bean update hence why we carnt update htc sence 4.0.4!!
