Okay I'm backup and working again now.

CMW didnt restore my kernel so I didnt have working Wifi.

To fix it I did the following:

Downloaded the WW .29 update from:

http://uk.asus.com/Tablet/Transformer_Pad/ASUS_Transformer_Pad_TF300T/#download

Then extracted the zip and put the "blob" fine on the INTERNAL SD Card:

Then using Wolfs guide I manually installed the .29 update:

I used the terminal I had installed on my tablet but if you havent you will need to use ADB.

su
dd if=/sdcard/blob of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p4 (WAIT DO NOT TOUCH/CANCEL)
reboot

This worked for me upgrading my .17 to .29 then I had to push the CMW recovery and root again.

There probably is a easier way but I don't know it and I just picked this info up from other posts. It worked on my device.

XpLoDWilD were you on .29 before installing the build? Wonder if that has go something to do with it? But if you are installing a complete ROM it shouldn't matter?

Not tested it from build .29

I can't wait to get home to try this out. I'm running CM9 Kang on my incredible, beauty of it, is its evervolv device tree with cm9 on top.

Could you post some info on how to contribute logs and stuff? It's been a long time since I've done it. I don't know how to code or anything but I could definitely provide some logs if you push me in the right direction.

I'm also wondering about installing from. 29, anyone have any success with wifi going this route?

Cheers.

Should CMW restore the kernel? Or can you create a CWM flashable one?

I had a Wifi issue too - I fixed it on my tablet but I think I forgot a file during the build. Try this:
cp /system/etc/nvram_4329.txt /data/misc/wifi/nvram.txt
Then reboot

I'll do a fixed build later today

Could you throw up the md5 for future builds? I don't mean to be a pain in the butt, but that would be cool. :)

Well if someone running stock can pull all .rc files in / and send them to me, it would make it faster ;)

Otherwise I'll release a build with wifi fixed this afternoon.

Behind you!
Awesome!

Edit: in the description in the op it says to flash first and then wipe, that doesn't really make sense does it?

Yeah I did last night http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=26484201&postcount=23

Just a bit of a ball ache though :p

Also its pointless doing a CMW backup if you can't use it :p

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, and I haven't needed to try this yet, You 'should' be able to fastboot the boot.img containing the kernel if you backed it up and transferred the files to your PC. Should just be:
fastboot -i 0x0B05 flash boot boot.img

Again I have NOT tried this yet to confirm.

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.0 (ICS), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    #include
    /*
     * Your warranty is now void.
     *
     * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
     *

     * cause of male impotence.

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

DO NOT FLASH THE RECOVERY FROM ROM MANAGER. IT IS THE ONE FROM TF201 AND WILL BRICK YOUR TABLET.
    You're warned.

    Google Apps:
    http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-ics-20120429-signed.zip

    Nightlies:
    http://get.cm/?device=tf300t

    First installation :
    1) Unlock your device, and install CWM recovery : http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1668173
    2) Push the update zip to your internal memory
    3) Reboot in recovery (Shutdown tablet, press Vol Down + Power, then press Vol Up when prompted)
    4) Make a backup
    5) Navigate to "Install zip from sdcard", "Choose zip from sdcard", and choose the update zip you previously pushed to your tablet
5a) If you want Play Store, flash gapps now too (link above)
    6) Go back and Wipe data/cache
    7) Reboot

    Updating from previous build:
    1) Push update zip to /sdcard/
    2) Reboot in recovery
    3) Flash as above
    4) Reboot

If any issue after updating, wipe data.

TF300T has now moved to CyanogenMod nightlies. Grab them at http://get.cm/ ;)

Nightlies and my experimental builds should be the same as I submitted my device tree, though I haven't yet tested them. Jenkins is the name of the build-bot, it's all my work behind the TF300T rom ;)
    8
Poked Cyanogen himself to merge the vendor fix for nightlies. I'm sorry it takes so much time. Once this is done, audio, gps and camera will be fixed in the nightlies.
    7
Still waiting on CMTeam to merge as mentioned before... If they don't rebuild the RC, I'll release an unofficial working one here
