Exactly.... The only thing you really loose is your warranty. And for us in the US warranty is a mute point as this phone has to be imported through grey market resellers. Unlock away

DRM keys, unique key codes to each individual device, it at one point was a secondary serial, then it became a dependancy item,
Its kinda just for warrentys now since unlocking your bootloader voids such
