Hey fellas !
I have a few questions about rooting.

1. How can I root my Xperia Z2 and keep the Bootloader Locked ?
2. If the Bootloader is locked, do I still receive OTA Updates from Sony ?
3. Will rooting erase data from the phone ?
4. Does rooting, while keeping the Bootloader locked, affect warranty ?

3. No
4. Potentially, although if bootloader is still locked unrooting is trivial and leaves no evidence.

Ok, I used the basic instructions on this thread and it's worked for me on both original .402 FW and .314 UK unbranded, have a look and see if your missing any steps if not give me a pm.

Try Easyroot as well if Towel Root is failing.
That's how I rooted whilst keeping my bootloader locked.
