It's weird because I did by the EX version and have the Show Notification checked, but my counter still isn't there. Any thoughts at all?

I have the same problem. Running CM7 RC0. I have not tried with another rom.
There is a program in market called ADWNotifier, this puts the counter on the icons for me. Only used it a few days though, reviews in market seem pretty bad.

Same problem here, I've downloaded several text packs for dock, but when I try to use them all of them are so small I can barely make out what they say. Anyone can point where they got readable-size ones. Thanks much
