I just got a hold of one of these devices from my brother, he has a better phone now so he just gave it to me.
I'm trying to root the device, it used to be onTelus but I have payed the unlock fee.
The problem being that everywhere I look it says that I need a GoldCard, and as far as I can find I can't make one anymore, can someone please help.
I'm willing to do more hex editing to edit more code if need be, I just don't know what to do.

P.S. I am a bit of a senior hacker, I have been hacking since windows 95, so I know my way around software pretty well, this just happens to be my first android device other than a cheep Chinese made tablet for under $100
