you are typing wrong. Probably you are using quotes and you can't. Try to type again carefully without the quotes

Another easy way to flash a recovery

Thank you @IvanKurnia for this usefull guide. Another easy way, especially for non experienced users, is simply installing Flashify from the playstore as it will do the work for you

is this a safe cwm

Just got this phone, pretty nice. Towel loot was the easiest thing I ever saw in my life seriously man, not even a reboot. Sweet. However. I cannot get any recovery to stick. None. I get no error messages and it appears to work but it doesn't. It puts random letters in the stock recovery but nothing else. Advise perhaps?

If you can't install the cwm recovery is because you are doing something wrong. Write the steps you made so we can know where it went wrong

-go HERE, link by acro68 the author of W's CM9 and who made CWM possible to our device
-download and extract it..
-put the recovery.img in /mnt/sdcard
-download & install "Terminal Emulator" by Jack Palevich in Play Store (FREE OF COURSE)
-open it then type "su" and click enter
-allow root access..
-then type "dd if=/sdcard/recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p13" then click enter <~ THAT IS "0" (ZERO) not "O" word..
-then some text will show in bottom
-exit terminal..

check the recovery by turning off the device then turn on with volume up botton, home button, and power button pressed together..

until "Galaxy W" screen shows up, release the power button only.. then you will enter CWM

-navigate with up (up) n down (down) vol button and home keys (select) and power (back) and click "reboot system now" to reboot

Hello,
I'm new to this forum and need some help.
I have used this guide to successfully flash my rooted phone with recovery-clockwork-6.0.4.5-ancora from here: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1446593 using ROM Toolbox Lite's Terminal Emulator.
When I try to flash CM-11.0 20141029-UNOFFICIAL from here: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2588495 using ROM Manager I get the following log:
