Has anyone tried the Ext2 mod with this Rom.

Done it as well, just got done actually. As Skater stated, boot time is crazy fast. I've noticed faster, crisper response times opening the few apps I've used since the mod..Also seems to have better respone backing out of apps etc..but im beat and have to get up in 4 hours for work, maybe I'll run some benchmarks tomorrow and report back on battery life . But so far nothing but positives. .

I am in download mode and am dowloading a stock firmware I am hoping to odin back onto my phone

Going to try this method here:

http://galaxynote2root.com/galaxy-n...ootunbrick-galaxy-note-2-with-stock-firmware/

Also I am aware that this is not the place to be asking for help in this matter, however my brain is too panicked to find the proper thread

Perfect, as long as you can get into DL or Recovery you are good. Don't worry too much about where you posted, we have all been there. You could also try flashing a root injected firmware from odin, it will save you a step.

I asked this awhile back but it got drowned out. is there a dev that can help modify the LED flashlight so it stays on, even with the screen off, until the user toggles it off again? once the phone times out and the screen turns off, so does the flashlight. the only work around is to set display time out to 10 min, but then I accidentally hit stuff on the screen. it would be so incredibly helpful to use the flashlight with screen off for however long the user wants.

Can anyone link to the Ext2 mod? I did a quick search but I'm not sure if I found what you guys are referring to.

Poi25, about the flashlight I think that's just on your end. I used to have the same problem but I think ptmr3 fixed it since my light stays on now. It even stays on when I lock the screen. Try that, turn on the light and then turn the screen off before it times out and see what happens.

Okay so today is my second day owning a T889 and it will take me some considerable time to get caught up on these forums and the ROM itself.

I apologize in advance for asking dumb questions however this thread is huge and there is so much buried in it.

So first dumb question, how do I use the multi window? I enabled it in the toggles but I don't see any annoying menu thing on the side of my screen.

Also is there a FAQ someplace that has all these answers?

    Hey guys!!!

Thanks to my friends in the council, most of you are aware that things are extremely hectic at this point for me, rendering it almost impossible to continue this work at this time...
    BUT...
I am also aware that there are thousands of you who literally rely on my work as your only ROM/Kernel and I feel that I need to honor that loyalty and do my best to continue. With this all in mind, I am and will be working my hardest to update as often as possible but this will mean alot of completely sleepless nights, etc and every bit of support will always be appreciated.

I will not be able to answer many questions at all or even drop in very often but will whenever the possibility arises... I hope you all can understand and help eachother as much as possible as the council strives to do daily
