Hi,
My xperia x10i is not turning on from months. It all started when the phone started to reboot too much like every 2-5 mins so I removed the battery for some time when I putted the battery again it was still booting up but same problem rebooting after 2-4 mins then I reflashed the original firmware (battery was only 7-15%) it successfully flashed and then when I tried to boot the phone, it wont boot and only give me 3x red led flashes, I knew my battery was drained so I ordered a new one as the previous one wont even charge from a wall charger. So when I tried the new battery it still wont boot it only shows 1x green led and vibrates but nothing happens after that, I again tried to re flash the software with seus but it wont work (After downloading of software installation failed) I tried to flash it with latest version of flash tool but it failed to so I downloaded an older version on flash tool and it worked but still the same problem 1x green led and vibrate nothing else on screen.
I am dying to see the Sony Ericsson logo on my phone >.<

Hi mate -
First you need to make sure your battery is charged
Plug into your charger and if your led light is red just leave it to charge it should change colour from orange to green Charged :good:

Try flashing with flash tools again a FTF rom eg - [ROM]"X10S" |v9 Final released FTF File| 21/07/2012 |xperia s firmware ported to x10
Link - http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1516960

Download the ftf file open flashtool and drag and drop FTF file into Flashtool

Make sure your tick no final verification box or you will get errors. :good:

It will prompt you to plug in your phone. Hold back key then plug in usb to computer OR you can take your battery out and leave your phone plugged into computer with usb then hold down back key then put your battery in.
Hope this helps

I had the same problem. The battery just could not hold the charge. You can try to freeze the battery and put back. If it can turn on, get a new battery. I found one on internet only about $5~6. It works with the new battery.

I had a similar problem at one point the battery was completely drained the x10 has a flaw in order to charge the battery there must be enough charge to power on the handset I cut a pkyg off a charger taped the wires to the battery and left it for 30 mins. Its dangerous I know but it did work.
Freezing actually reduces a battery's capacity (while its cold)by as much as 40%

Sent from my Xperia SP using xda app-developers app

You must charge the phone before flash it. If you cannot charge it, put your phone in flash mode and plug it to your computer. The flash mode lets your phone charging :)

You can try to flash it : https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B_d8uWGbkaetVUw4bldBVzV1ZTg/edit?pli=1

It's the official 1.6 FTF for X10 and it works on locked and unlocked bootloaders :D

Hope this help

EDIT : OFFICIAL FRENCH FTF ( GINGERBREAD ) http://www.mediafire.com/download/g261sds11dt91ug/Xperia+X10_2.3.3_Generic.rar

Try to flash the phone with SD card and SIM card pulled out; If it doesn't works : Try to flash it :
http://www.mediafire.com/download/g261sds11dt91ug/Xperia+X10_2.3.3_Generic.rar

If the 2.3.3 firmware stucks too at "data", make a copy of the ftf and name it "test-flash.ftf" or other :p

Open the test-flash with Winrar and delete the file "userdata.sin".

Flash the test-flash with userdata deleted :)
Thanks for your help bro. I am trying now. Will tell you how it goes. :)
I deleted userdata and its still stuck on flashing data xD lol
