So I'm using the stock messaging app (with the Venom rom) and I don't see any way to use emojis in the stock Messaging app. I'm using SwiftKey if that matters. Does the app support sending emojis? If so, how?

You shouldn't even need to download a new keyboard. The stock keyboard has emojis built in. Just switch to it when you want to send emojis and switch back to Swiftkey when you're done.
