Default [Q]how to turn on sgs without power button

my power button broke, and the only way to power it back up is to install the carrier rom via odin, which makes my device outdated and unrooted, Ive downloaded Button remapper so I could switch the power key with something else, but it asks for full root access, is there any way to root my phone via odin, or just without recovery mode? or as alternative any way to turn my phone on without the damn power button?

Turn on USB Debugging.
Plug into computer.
If you dont have it already, download adb from: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/55342610/ADB.zip
go to the directory where you extracted it, and shift click the folder.
Click "open command prompt here"
Type, without quotes: "adb.exe reboot recovery"

Done.
Stay up-to date with all the S+ developments:
Device :: Samsung Galaxy S Plus (aka I9001)
ROM :: CM10.1 (beta 2) by Xistance
Recovery :: CWM 6.0.3.1
If I helped, click the thanks button!
