Post [Q] Help on rom for Yp-G70 sgs

Hello so i want to load a custom rom and kernel onto my tablet but have no idea how to or which one to load!

What tools do i need?
Which rom is the best generally?
What are the risks or benefits?

I am currently rooted but stock rom froyo 2.2.2 and stock kernel.
My games are the biggest to me second is music thats what i use it for.

2. Any rom that isn't in developement is fine. Your choice.
3. There are no risks if you do it properly. Benefits are usually listed in the rom thread.

You can try this ROM

It's not a "custom ROM" with a lot of features and tweaks. It's based on a stock ROM (Gingerbread 2.3.6) and it's rooted, deodexed, with CWM Recovery and some other features...

For flashing instructions click on the link in the ROM's thread "Flashing Rom with Odin" where you will find a tutorial to the process...

To prevent any problem flash the right ROM for your device (International or USA version), you will only miss the SoundAlive feature that's crap in Gingerbread but games and other apps works fine.

use Odin and as for roms I have a 4.0 so its a whole different type of rom

Thankx for this rom reference il check it out maybe download a whole bunch and choose the best one. Know of any great tutorials on how to back up your stuff?

For apps backup try Titanium Backup (
download from Google Play)

okay thankx i have titanium backup alreay i need to find my device backup rom file incase... Been struggling
