It isn't "URGENT" so to speak. I have been using the t139 flip phone while trying to get some cooperation from the companies. I bricked it by removing the play store on accident and then flashing the gapps zip for gb but it just bricked after that xD but like I said it's a soft brick that can be easily fixed if I had the files to work withIs it urgent? In other words is this your only phone or do you just want to get it working again. If its urgent may be able to help you when I get home from work. If its just wanting to get it working, once i have clockworkmod working, you sound like the perfect guinie pig. I have a full clockworkmod backup of the full rom,and there is a way to restore it with the SDK.
What exactly did you do to brick it.
If anyone out there has a phone thats still running the original first shipping version of the software,Id like to get a copy. I can give you instructions on how to do it. I want to restore the original version ,and then capture the OTA update whe it comes through.

yeah that's what I think I need as well.. I pulled the img files but they werent working right when I pulled them so I was kinda stuck after the brick... but I can do either the img files or update.zip to fix itWhat I beleive you need to do is to flash the files using fastboot over the system and data partions.Ill try to get it up tomorrow.
I dont mean to be off topic but how long has the t mobile concord been out.my mom just bought one at Walmart for $60.00. Thanks

Need some help or a link to instructions on rooting this phone, This is a T-mobile no contract phone, made by ZTE Phone is running Gingerbread 2.3.7 Since this phone is new on the market is their a similar phone I can look at as an example of how to root it?
Thanks in advance
Could someone with this device use ZIPme to create an update.zip of the stock rom for me? That's what I need
I tried to get a ZIPme of it, but it runs for about 4 minutes and then says "failed"... I am guessing the memory can't handle the size, but it gave no indication of what went wrong. Any other app or idea I could try?
You could make a titanium backup of the device then in titanium, pull up the menu and choose create update.zip. I only need a backup of the system files if you've already had things installed
I am a real noob to all this smart phone stuff, but after some messing with it, I think I got the system portion backed up through ZIPme. Let me know if it is not what you seek and I will try again.
By the way, this build is from Solavei (hope it still works for you):
ZTE V768 Concord
Android version 2.3.7
Kernel version 2.6.35.7
Build Solavei-V768V1.0.0B03
i have been looking around and im alittle lost on this IS there a way to root this ??
adb devices
adb push busybox /data/local/tmp
adb push su /data/local/tmp
adb push Superuser.apk /data/local/tmp
adb shell
chmod 6755 /data/local/tmp/su
chmod 755 /data/local/tmp/busybox
chmod 644 /data/local/tmp/Superuser.apk
sudo nautilus
adb shell
su
Still looking for help, since this phone is relatively inexpensive, there is going to be a lot of them out there. And a lot of people looking to root them. Just hoping someone will give me assistance as this will also be solution for others as well.
