I installed all of this and over clocked my phone! YAY lol
Can no longer use speed dial though...can't find the option? Any help/advice?

After saving a number as an Outlook Contact (as opposed to a SIM Contact), go into 'Contacts'. Click the contact you'd like to add to Speed Dial. Press 'Menu', then scroll down to 'Add to Speed Dial'. You then should scroll down to 'Keypad Assignment' and choose which digit you'd like to correspond to the contact.
Yeah and that's what the Help on the Speed Dial app in the start menu says to do as well. However that option is not in the list.

If i install the RUU and it messes up my phone can i still reboot it to factory settings? i just got this phone and i don't want to brick it, but all the t mobile crap on it is getting annoying.
I used to mod the Motorola phone i had before this all the time without any problems but messing with this new phone makes me a little nervous, can anyone offer some reassurance that i can undo anything that i do?

Hmm... That's strange that you don't have 'Add to Speed Dial' as an option. I'm going to research this. Also, I've been aggravated with the ActiveSync loading up on its own too. It takes up precious memory for no reason. If I recall, there is a registry edit you can make to stop ActiveSync from loading automatically. I don't remember which key needs to be changed though. Try searching for keywords in the forum.

Stranger yet, it WAS THERE!!! Right after the initial flash to WM6.1. I remember finishing my contacts and added one to speed dial. After a reboot or two later...it was just gone.SIM Unlock

you have 2 options for sim unlock
1. with certain (most US ones)carriers, if you hold an active account in good standings for 90 days or more (in tmobiles case) they will give you the code. if that isnt an option you have #2
2. pay someone to do it.
do a search on here. there is a thread of someone that will do it for a small fee

I love it to be honest with you. I'm really grateful that Kavana (and Rickywatt) have taken time from their lives to gift us with WM6.1 when it seems that T-Mobile or even HTC do not intend to release it for the S620.
My only quips are that my speed dial is mysteriously missing (not after the flash but after a hard reset) and that Active Sync runs randomly without cause.
One thing I've wanted to ask though is how on earth do you turn off the "Your message was successfully received/denied/sent" for SMS and MMS messaging? I hate getting a "new" text message only to find that it's just a confirmation. I could very well do without them.

i have a probelm where my a,z,w,e,r,s,d,f,x,c,v buttons dont work.. idk if this is new or what. but can someone help?
that didnt work and also when i press on a text message the convo is blank and it then says the message cannot be signed and/or encrypted.

problem with updating
i have a problem...when I try updating, my activesync turns off and it says error: no connection between phone and pc. I don't know how to keep activesync on when its about to update. someone please help me

Help guys...when I try updating to kavana new 6.1, my activesync turns off by itself and it says error: no connection between phone and pc...I'v tried a couple of times but it still goes off. Is there a way solving this problem; preventing activesync from automatically disconnecting or an alternative. pls help..thanks Tj
No, it actually doesnt even start downloading....Its usually when it's about to start; activesync just goes off and it says no connection. I dunno how to fix this; I need this rom update 'I'm using Tmobile dash with the latest activesync" is there smthing i need 2 do? HELP

Reboot you device
After Reboot - Choose Voice Command
MS Voice Command will be the default voice command, so if you press cancel, it will be defaulted to MS Voice Command. However, If you do choose Cyberon Voice Command, you need to reboot.(Difference between these two kinds of voice command is that Cyberon voice uses voice-tags that you record, whereas ms voice command doesn't need you to record voice tags(but spoken language only support English)
After this, install the following has the keyboard has mapping problems:
eT9 with 14 languages suppport addon(spanish, french, german and italian)
