It's the build.prop from cyanogen 4.2.4, but your on 4.2.5. It just says it's on 4.2.4, but it really is 4.2.5

Just go to the market and download Google Maps, it has Nav. This method is now obsolete unless 1) you want to be able to tell it where you want to go with your voice, or 2) You need it for outside the U.S. Navigation

With the modified 3.2.0 .apk navigation stopped working for me in Germany. After clicking on "navigate" I get the error message "Navigation to your destination is not available".

Anyone else?

i see ur running cm 4.2.7.1, i went throught all these step to get the nav working on my G1. And didnt realize that it is cooked in the cm ROM. Its beenin the cm roms from 2 versions ago.

Yes, stopped working here in Sweden too.

No i dont thinks its cooked tho, i had completely removed maps
From the system/app folder and removed maps in data and cleared dalvik
I sort of got it to work now no crashes anymore butt ,its says now
that thare is no navigation available in my area.
There is a new version in the market , and i read that google
Has done something, and it stopped working.

Has anybody here successfully modified Google Navigation on a PC (running an Android emulator)? I tried running a live-Android-x86 on my CarPC, but even that did not allow Navigation which is better on my G1 then any PC Nav app.

Navigation works fine on SDK emulator. It eats all processor power though.
