[Q] Do I need to go back to ext3?

Howdy all, I am running CM7 (2.6.32.45-cyanogenmodrmcc@giskard #1) now but it's getting buggy and the battery life has suddenly become fairly average so I want to try this V20Q rebuild -

Just wondering if I have to do anything differently when flashing since CM7 is ext4 and this is an ext3 file system? Or can I just put it on my sd card and flash from CWM?
I had problems when I tried BlazingDragon 2.1 so I just want to make 100% sure before doing anything this time.

If I remember right....BD 2.1 was an EXT 4 ROM.To make sure you have backup of the present ROM(in case if you need to go back). then use the Ext4 Convertor which is available in the Developers section...in one of the sticky threads.

AFAIK you can put it in your SD card, flash it with CWM.

Okay thanks. Also, might seem stupid, but do I need to flash the V20Q baseband before flashing the rom?
