I tried to put on a custom rom on my phone but when it starts up now it says the following:

"[LGE_SECURITY ERROR] boot image signature
Critical failure: Unable to start kernel
Unrecoverable bootloader error (0x00000002)

What can I do now? got no backup

You couldn't be bothered to search? You didn't notice the two threads - one longer one and one created the other day - about exactly the same thing that were sat on the front page of this forum? Really?

Hint: The first Rule of XDA is;-
1. Search before posting.

Use one of our search functions before posting, whether you have a question or something new to share, it's very likely someone already asked that question or shared that news.

Have you unlocked your bootloader before ???

Sent from my LG-P880 using xda app-developers app

I put in "LG-Optimus-4XHD-Recovery-v1.2" and "LGUnitedMobileDriver_Ver_3.7.2_LG-P880_LGO4XHD" before using recovery to install "Carbon_1.7_root_fix".

What can i do now. I can get in recoverymode by pushin vol- and power on, but what can I do from there.? I cant transfer content to the phone so cant really get new firmware on it. maybe on the sdcard?
