it will fit in time, give it a try, also we have to place it correctly from the start. please note that i use the gsm version with official extended battery. things could be different with verizon/sprint devices.

This is one of the best cases at a reasonable price for the gnexus, and will fit good with the extended battery.

Bought a couple of these for my sister and I. They fit well and are well made, should provide good protection. One of the cases had some bumps and was a bit poorly made compared to the other though. Overall quite happy with the $12 I spent for both of them. (White)

Actually, I had the same problem with the black one they sent me. This was with the extended battery on, not sure about without it. But since the color blends in well, I didn't take any points off it in my review
