Re: [ROM][WiFi][AOKP/CM][4.2.1] Dirty RootBox v1.2 [Aroma][Per-App-DPI][PIE][OTA][02/

Ok something needs to be fixed, got some build errors. We are going from 4.2.1 to 4.2.2 today and it might take a bit. I'll try building again in the morning and see what happens.

As badly as I'm itching to flash something....I would rather wait till it's right....I also read that RootBox was fixing WiFi tethering.

How do you activate the nav bar widgets? I configured them but don't see option to bring them up. I want a long press of one of the nav buttons to pull them up (it's his I set it up on a prior ROM).

Re: [ROM][WiFi][AOKP/CM][4.2.1] Dirty RootBox v1.2 [Aroma][Per-App-DPI][PIE][OTA][02/

PIE is interesting but still miss stability. Often need to go back to settings in order to set the gravity again for can see it again. Suddenly just refuse to show anymore, become totally transparent and render navigation impossible. But having more screen avalaible and still being able to navigate is totally awesome.

The ROM look good, can't say much about it, I use it as second ROM with Multirom so performances never can be compared to the internal ROM. Or maybe PIE control lag due to this?

Performance is great with this ROM, no lag here at all, and games like NFSMW are running as good as I've ever seen them. I'm not using PIE though, I'm using LMT launcher and no multiROM.

Awesome. Anyone know whats new in 4.2.2?

A friend of mine that's been tinkering and building with 4.2.2 said the "biggest" difference he noticed with the performance was that the pulldowns flowed a lot smoother.

I'll add some more info in a bit on the actual changes.

Update: Reading some articles I found a few things someone named "the_Chlero" posted

Bluetooth audio streaming bugs fix

Long pressing the WiFi and Bluetooth icons in quick settings toggles the on/off state

Of course the usual "bug fixes and performance enhancements" is posted everywhere lol.

Here's an article by android police which provides the change log

Less functional toggles? now that's progress!

Your screenshot just shows the AudioFX app, what happens in the music fx settings? There is nothing and this is the problem! There must be beats settings but there are not working...

via nexus7

My bad, I have Noozoxide installed, so the music fx is being handled by that. Beatz Fx doesn't work, so you might want to give it a look. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.noozxoidelabs.eizo.rewirepro

OK, so I couldn't stand it any longer. I just had to flash a 4.2.2 ROM. Found one in "Original Development" and flash it.

I played with it for about an hour before I switched back. I have come to the realization that Dirty RootBox has ruined me for any other ROM.:D;)

Its a bit of a contrast to dirty rootbox, yes, ive used light roms before though and some are very good, but i like to have more settings, and a theme chooser so I can have nice alloyui and not have to look at that horrid stock theme. I WANT THEM ALL!!! ALL UR SETTINGS ARE BELONG TO US!!!!! (I just want to try a few games etc to see how they run with the stock 4.2.2 kernel) :)
