So I read on the dinc2 section on rootzs that someone was going to flash the Franco kernel for aokp. So my question is even though that kernel was intended for the gnexus will it work with our phones as long as we are on aokp? Thanks in advance. This build #34 has been great so far.

I dunno the answer to that (mostly it is no, but that is a guess) I suggest you can venture and find out. Be our guinea pig! :D :p

Every time someone asks this question, a box of kittens die. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE use the search function, but in terminal type su, then allow SU, then type killall drmserver.

If I don't unlock the phone shortly after it boots, it goes black and I cannot get the screen on unless I pull the battery. The backlit keys still light up but the screen is off.

I'm sure this has been covered but it is annoying.

EDIT: Just strange behavior out of mine. In fact, I have been having problems for the last few days with a lot of stuff. Market won't download (921 error) even after "killall drmserver" command, Titanium extremely slow restoring, extreme lag, etc. I feel like it may be my recovery somehow (4ext). I just haven't nailed down the problem. Just ignore this as I vent on paper ;-)

I didn't. I don't know what to set it to at all.

If you have a class 4 SD card try setting it to 3072 and test out the rom after that and see if the lag is fixed. If you have higher then class 4 you can try setting it higher to get better performance. Check out init2winit.com faq for more info on SD booster and the settings you should have it at if you are experiencing lag.

Odd issue. A short press on the power button isn't turning my screen off. It's pulling up the power menu instead. Was happening on 34 and is still happening on m5. I only flashed m5, and happy. Anybody else see this?

Just installed M5 and do not have this issue. Actually I do not have any issues. Did not have to killall via terminal. Have yet to test mms.

Is goo going through some maintenance? Because I can't access the website for some reason. :(

EDIT: Never mind, I eventually downloaded the file and going to flash soon. :)

I am using M5 and still had to do mms fix and camera fix as well. Also the mod for recent app button by litetaker works fine as well.

Goo worked fine for me a hour ago.

Quit the arguing in this thread guys or i will lock it down permanently next time!

Idk why, but after the first boot I set it up and everything, and when hit the power button to see the lockscreen, and when the screen turned back on it went into a bootloop??? ALSO, my messaging app crashes after I open it, it won't let me see the lockscreen at all. And I'm still in a bootloop after a battery pull................

this is a prob with your phone, not the ROMs that you keep trying and posting in, I tried helping you, and I've seen you post about this in almost every thread I open.
    which is fine,
but there is information about new CLNR with the newer software and doing s-off, and just about everyone has the same bootloop problem.
please, contact Verizon, or work with someone who is also having this issue.
