Modems/Radio?

I know quite a bit about android but one thing that i never took the time. To learn about was the modems/radios I'm on task650s latest aokp 4.4.2 with the MDL baseband I've seen throughout the forums people talking about NB4. My question is, should I update it to NB4 , and is it safe?

Some people say they get better data speed etc from NB4. If you like your data speeds now, stay where you are.

Its pretty safe. World isnt perfect. I have flashed (with Odin) all the modems with not a single issue.

If for some reason your data gets worse from NB4, you can always flash back to MK2.
