A YouTube app alternative?

There is no alternative that is even close to the official youtube app for Android.
The only alternative I can think of is going on it using a web browser.
Not sure why you'd even want an alternative to the currant app but, personal preference right?

Yeah browser is good as it will not run in background too
May be try tubemate app, it could download multiple youtube videos at once or just download the music of them as mp3 files
