i tried installing via CWM & TWRP

cwm showed status 7 error something related to product name 'C1505' something
and twrp showed similar failure to install

am i doing something wrong?

note -i have already installed cm10 rom by @UltraGamerHD
,im also new to xda(well i have come here hundreds of times but never posted anything)

Its easy to fix.
Open up the zip, go to META-INF, then android, then google (or maybe the other way round), and open the update-script in any text editor.
Now at the very beginning, delete all the lines that start with

Code:

assert

till the last " ; " sign (without quotes).
DO NOT DELETE ANY LINE BEYOND IT!! (don't touch the bunch of lines that start with "mount")
Now zip it back up, and flash using TWRP.
This worked for me.
The error occurs when recovery detects an error in the 'assert' lines' syntax or when the device mentioned in those lines doesn't match the device you're using. The 'assert' function is used by devs to ensure that their ROM is flashed only on the correct device.
How do I know all this?
Well, it happened to me too, and thus, Google!
