went back to 2.2 and instagram camera no longer reboots the system. this is with KT kernal. again for reference i did try 2.3 and it reboot no matter with bms, kt kernal.

guess ill stick to 2.2

anyone with 2.4 who use instagram confirm it doesnt reboot using camera in external aps like instagram

I'm on the new 2.4 update with the new ktoonz 3.4 kernel. Everything seems fine, no reboots with third party camera apps and that screen lines problem gone.

Oh and I notice there's a new call recording button, not sure how to play them back yet. Also dark themed SMS is back

Which modem do you have? I have UVLJC and when I flash it acts like it doesn't. Weird.

Edited my typos. When I flash the latest 2.4 OFFICIAL, the script checks which modem I have and if it not UVDLJC or UVDMD5 or something else, the script stops the whole thing. I do have UVDLJC but the script doesn't seem to think so.

Pretty sure its more than just what radio/modem you have. When was last time you updated through ODIN or an OTA?

Well as long as you can boot up fine try checking in About Phone what modem your system is reading.

You may be right. The last time I flashed OTA firmware was T999_UVDLJA. The rest of the flashing (UVDLJC) I did was just zips through recovery.

No, you don't understand. The error in the script halts the flashing completely. I would have to resort to older versions of Liquid Smooth.

I wish I knew why we get errors. If it isn't just the baseband/modem, what else could it be? The error doesn't say besides that it checks our baseband/modem.

My apologies. Revert back to your nandroid and/or flash the MD5 modem to see if the issue persists. It's hard to pinpoint exactly what it is as it hasn't happened to me but I do think there's something else involved in this error besides the modem

No worries! I appreciate you trying to help.

Which rom did you come from?

I'm already on MD5 and it's still giving me an error. I am certain it isn't a bad download either. If I can only figure out what else it is besides the radio, I'm sure this is an easy fix.

I came from Liquid 2.2 Nightly 4/24 but had updated my modem before updating to 2.4

You say you're certain it's not a bad download but you never know so I suggest redownloading the update and make sure the MD5's match.

If that doesn't help then what I recommend doing is ODIN back to STOCK LJC, accept the MD5 ota, reroot and reflash TWRP 2.5, then try flashing the ROM again.

    Some of you guys may not sleep, BUT I actually do. I actually have a personal life outside of all this! Now I see why DJIntrigue808 stopped developing. There's some truly ungrateful people around here lol. Does it mean I'm stopping... nah but it's really opened my eyes to the fact people will take advantage of your kindness and throw it back in your face...

    Check this: MOST development threads don't want people flooding posts as it makes ti hard for users who ACTUALLY search to find solutions to there questions... Guess what, we casually talk here

    MOST development threads the devs don't say a damn thing, they just release and call it a day... Guess what... I try to keep everyone up-to-date on what the hell is going on...

    I'm starting to get the idea of why MOST development threads ARE the way they are...

    So what does it mean? Nothing for now, but if some of you guys keep acting like spoiled ass kids, I'll lock this thread and force you to check things like facebook, twitter, etc... I'll cut the friendly convo, I'll stop trying to keep you guys up-to-date.

    Hell I may continue to be nice and friendly to those that care and just a straight up asshole to those that don't. All I know is I'm not feeling the way things are going with these people coming in demanding **** like they paid for it, OR own it. Ask anyone who's donated... they got a beta build, test build what have you... those that don't, I'm not saying you need to because it doesn't matter, BUT sit back and shut up!!! :D

    If you can't.... the repo link is right above find out what it does and where it goes and good frikkin luck!!!


    On a lighter note... those that are patient... you'll be waiting no more after today. We had some technical issues that happened late... (Most of TeamLiquid is EST) so yeah... I stand on this word... Release is today guys

    See... for you guys holding out this long and being patient... you'll be getting builds based on 4.2.2 :D. I feel that's better than getting a 4.2.1 build and waiting til later b4 getting a 4.2.2 build. PLUS you get more fixes :)
