[Q] SDFix failed to obtain root access

Three weeks ago I purchased a HTC one 802w unlocked mobile from Hong Kong.
During this period I updated to 4.4.2 and I have ended up not able to use my SDcard.
For that reason and believing that I have a rooted phone I installed SDfix but I get a "failed to obtain root" mesage.
Can anybody please help how to make it work?

You probably did not root it correctly. Did you install custom recovery? How did you root it?
Check if you have ROOT : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.joeykrim.rootcheck

Okay, you are correct, I have checked and i don't have ROOT. How should I proceed know in order to ROOT an unlocked, S-Off HTC one 802w

Taking into consideration that I don't know what the seller from China have done and I am also not an expert on the topic.
