What are you waiting for? Unlock it as soon as you can, it's a huge restriction for your device! (assuming that you're not one of those unlucky guys that the phone doesn't allow to do so)

Beware, unlocking the bootloader also removes key funtions such as BionZ, x-reality, noise reduction.. Restoring them can be hairy.. See @jimRnor mod

I will not unlock the phone...
Now I have tried someting else:
1.Flash .108 FTF DE with Flashtool
2.Root with Easyroot v.12.4
3.Installed SuperSU from Playstore
4.Installed Z1C-lockeddualrecovery[VERSION]-BETA.installer.zip from "[NUT]'s XDA download page"
5.Start TWRP recovery and then installed : KitSlim_AMG, Full GAPPS and Black Apps without reboot.
6.Installed again over TWRP : Z1C-lockeddualrecovery2.7.154-BETA.flashable.zip from "[NUT]'s XDA download page"
7..Installed over TWRP : UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.37.zip from http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1538053
After rebooting the phone it seems to work....I still have the dualrecovery !!!

I have tried every ROM available for our Z1 now. I had them all in use for more than a week each. And I am back to this one. It is the best.

anyone know why i get random freezing using the doom kernel with this?
reason i use doom is due to the speed.

Never had any problems with Doomkernel... Sometimes my phone does not wake up but I UC it pretty hard.
Never had a random freeze though. So it might be an issue with your specific setup.

Which would that be? There is no fully working Lollipop port yet. No need to update a. 108 ROM again.

i am on KitSlim atm for testing.
Very fast and smooth, but i have a BIG BATTERY DRAIN ISSUE.
I loose 10% in 1 hour in standby-mode

Checked wakelocks with WLD:
- RILJ 23894 wakelocks
- AlarmManager 13661 wakelocks

wtf is going on???

Any ideas out there???

Did you do clean install?
In my opinion you must do clean install.

i did a clean install (as always flashing a new ROM)
and another issue: i loose my phone connection (2G, 3G, LTE) - i think that causes the telephone wakelocks... but i don´t know WHY ...

clean install
installed DoomKernel as well (Lionheart + ROW)
fixed RILJ problem (lots of wakelocks) ---> thx to @dstrikersZ1

edited mixer_paths.xml to have more loudness
debloated ROM (uninstalling and/or freezing apps)
flashed Crossbreeder
modified statusbar, navbar, ... with GravityBox
installed 20MP SuperiorAuto Xposed Module for very good photos (although BL is unlocked

)
and some more Xposed Modules ...

And all i can say is that this is the best stockROM ever tested on my Z1c

My Z1 compact has difficulties in finding GPS location and sometimes it's even impossible. I have installed [STOCK ROM][FTF]Xperia Z1c (D5503) 14.4.A.0.108 Generic UA unbranded (1279-4053) and then Evo9. I really need my GPS back for navigation :/

I've had no problems with GPS on any build of rom.
Have you tried an app called GPS test? in it there is an option to 'clear agps' data. Do this, then leave the GPS on and somewhere where it will get an easy fix, like a windowsill, for at least 30 minutes. This will force the phone to refresh its gps start location data and compile a list of available satellites. Hopefully after this it should take a few seconds to connect in the future.

No difference at all...I tried this app several times and i had to wait +5minutes for gps signal, which was weak and not stable. After that I installed GPS Test ot Galaxy S3 and it found gps location almost immediately. I don't know whether this matters, but maybe the stock ROM which I installed before Evo, was not for my region ( Bulgaria, Europe)?
