You cannot go back to 4.3 from 4.4.2, you'll brick your phone.
I have wonderful battery life on 4.4.2; I'm a lite user and I regularly get 4-5 days.
You should download better battery stats
it can help identify which app or process is eating your battery up.

I'm sure someone will be able to come up with a way to do it... I know for a fact you can do it on the Note2 as I did when I had it.. So lets not count that idea out, just yet..
That is a totally different phone. ... the bootloader can't be downgraded. .. don't think anyone is working on it either
