use "software data cable" from market and use this with ftpmanager to manage your sd!


download ROM toolbox in market
get root
go to "scripter"
create new with custom name
put this in the script

mount -o remount rw /system/
chmod 777 /system/bin/drmserver
./system/bin/drmserver&
mount -o remount.ro /system

save
select and set "as boot"

and market is enabled for all every time :D

fix for market trick without rw

Can't wait until this ROM is ready for all day use! Had installed it yesterday and was totally in love with ICS. But without the ability of making phone calls it doesn't realy make sense to leave it on the phone :D

It does phone calls! And text messages too!

..And that's it.

I followed the steps to the letter but i get this error in the proccess

E:\dev\android\platform-tools>adb shell chmod 0644 A1026*
Unable to chmod A1026*: No such file or directory

E:\dev\android\platform-tools>adb shell chmod 0644 A1026*
Unable to chmod A1026*: No such file or directory

E:\dev\android\platform-tools>adb shell chmod 0644 Adie*
Unable to chmod Adie*: No such file or directory

what could be the problem?

On second thought, im not putting the updated libs in, because they dont work with hw acceleration apparently

That's for doing it while the phone is in the OS, ie, not in the recovery. If you're in the recovery, let it boot, and re run after the phone has booted.

Awesome ROM, love how it's shaping up! My DD from today onwards.

Two caveats, though. They may not be of utmost urgency:
1- the notification light sometimes remains turned on. And stays on unless I receive an SMS/Mail.

2- Facebook Contacts Sync doesn't work. At all. Selecting Facebook in the Add Account section does nothing. Also, the option doesn't show in Facebook's options. Maybe this has something to do with GTalk not working?

Anyway, these are small problems that I can live with until the serious problems are solved, such as HW Acceleration.

Good job guys, keep it up! If you want any design work, I'm open to help! :)

    GAPPS IN SECOND POST! So is a temp fix for market. (no longer required for b5r2)

    if you find it slow, load up rom toolbox, scroll right to performance, click cpu sliders, and set max to 1.3ghz and change the governor from interactive to either performance or ondemand. its currently at 1ghz and interactive, which may be why it is slow.
    ALSO, NEVER UNDERCLOCK UNDER 200MHZ, IT HAS ISSUES!!!!!

    FAQ​

    Q. My wifi tether doesn't work? Why?
    A. Dont know. Download Barnacle Tether from the market, that reportedly works.

    Q. My market doesn't work. How do i fix?
    A. Read above, follow those instructions and it will work.

    Q. Why isn't market or Gmail etc installed?!
    A. You have to flash GAPPS from above, then they all will appear

    Q. Why is it so slow?
    A. It isn't. At the start it may be, but let it settle in. Also, it is only at 1GHZ, and on the interactive governor. Go to Rom Toolbox and swipe left to performance and select cpu sliders. I recommend it being at 1.3Ghz and either ondemand or performance. Make sure to set it on boot.

    Q. Why does my "?" not work?
    A. It does. you have to click FN+X for ? (G2 users: ALT+X) If you want, you can flash OdiemanSAM's latest kernel in his thread, and it fixes the "?" button, but the home button doesnt work, so i left it out.

    Q. Does this have Hardware Acceleration?
    A. Yes and no. We have a hardware acceleration hack enabled, but its not true hardware acceleration, which is why GTalk doesn't work. We are close to true hardware acceleration, and when we have it, it will be FAST.

    Q. Why doesn't GTalk work?
    A. It needs hardware acceleration apparently. Look at the question and answer above

    Q. Do i need to fullwipe between updates?
    A. No, but it is highly recommended. If you dont, you may not get all the features/fixes of the update, and my run into issues

    Q. Why doesn't my Facebook sync contacts?
    A. This isn't because of some glitch or anything. Google disabled it in ice cream sandwich due to "violations" or something

    Q. Why doesn't Flash Player work?
    A. As of 16/12/11 it hasn't been updated for Ice Cream Sandwich

    op updated, beta7r1 released. its officially abandoned now. also, wifi doesnt work, and because its abandoned, i couldnt be bothered to fix it, because i didnt have time. sorry. i'll be back with another rom in a month, after my exams ;D
