I am use the 1800mAh battery posted in link up. I very satisfect and price is too low.
I think you are talking about Ace 2. Duos has no front cam and extra ram. But, it has only a 3.5 mp cam with no led flash and its not so good!

Ok, like my cel phone is on stand-by in more time, i do a test playing and surfing on the web using wifi conection and post the result. Better this way?

I did try galaxy Y it fit sgace but its 1200 maH, wawe 1,2 do nor fit ace.

Isn't there any battery with higher mAh rating for Ace? I've heard about a chinese 2300 mAh battery for arnd Rs. 1500 (Appx. $25-30), but i'm not too sure about it being good

Even the manufacturers wont b sure abt it being 2300mAh.LOL..
Mugen has a 1600mAh.n its a reputable company..theres another thread going on it..chk it out.
Did a test on battery life using different roms and the best result is given by Meego rom by harmattan..
1. Removed useless system apps (only 2-3 as its a light wt rom) also removed CWM manager
2. Installed apps like xda, tt pod, walkman, opera, titanium bkup, root xplorr, root uninstaller, go chat, flashplayer, adfree, mx player, fruit slice & advancd tsk killer pro. Removed launcher pro and all its icon packs and installed adw.
3. Set up dta2sd of 2 gb . Zipalligned, activated swap partition to 50% of 128 mb. Transferred cache and data 2sd-ext using the trminal emulatr app. I hav a 16 gb sdcard
4. And finally charged my empty batter for 3 hrs.
Result: my ace worked for 60 hrs straight from d tym i unplugged my charger.
Usage: 100 txts sent, approx 170-180 txts received, on call 20 mins, misd calls 40 up, net usage 2g 1.5 hrs, wifi 20 mins, fruit slice played for half hr, porn watched for half hr, phone restarted due to adw lags thrice, pics taken 10, music lisned on fone for 20 mins.
Time idle: 35 hrs up.
Note: Phone was nt connected to pc or the charger for these 60 hrs. Performance weakened during the last 10 hrs but the phone was alive.

2i think u are wrong on that...ace duos has 1650mah battery whereas i9000 has 1500mah battery......moreover both of them are totally different in terms of physical form factor.
I mean the form factor, not capacity
