Help unlocking T-Mobile G-Slate

Is there any way to unlock it?

XDA is refusing to give us a forum for the G Slate so that google code page I linked is really the only resource for us.

But can't find any thing relted to unlocking carrier cuz I will travel to Qatar in two weeks
and I need to use it there

You need to contact Tmobile if you have an account with them. Request a SIM unlock. As long as you haven't done one on your line in the last 90 days they'll put in the request. Within 72 hours they'll email you the unlock code and instructions.

If they won't do it try this site: http://sim-unlock.net.

I think they charge around $15 but it works.

Simple go to E-Bay. Item number 400223470996. 4.49$ in next 30 minutes you have unlocked device. Confirm, working good and properly on my G-Slate.

I have unlocked it and I have signal but there is no cellular data

I tried to re-configre it again and again but no luck any ideas?

do I have to have a 4G sim card?

Make sure you are on the right bands that are supported by your device and check to make sure your apn settings are correct. When that happens it is usually the apn's.

nwm found the one on ebay took me a wile tho since i ended up at totally wrong place on bay the 20 or so links
i think i had to match koskenkorva (clearwater) or something ^^ thy for the post...
